Core Building Principles
Lingenfelter Custom Homes builds every home knowing that it will be a family’s escape from the rest of the world. With that in mind, we decided to use the word ‘ESCAPE’ to summarize our core values.
E – Energy Efficient Homes
LCH builds energy efficient homes because we know that as your family grows, so will your costs. We want our standard homes to have superior performance ratings over our competition and to give you lower monthly expenses.
S – Safe
We want our standard home safety features to exceed what most of our competitors provide because we care about your family’s wellbeing. LCH has a standard high-wind package on all homes (that goes above and beyond building code requirements), wall-to-foundation hold-downs, bearing plates at mudsill, and wall-to-wall straps and hurricane (truss to wall) ties. Many LCH projects will include 6-8 person storm shelters, as well.
C – Comfortable
LCH wants your home to be comfortable, functional, and fun to live in. Our standard homes have open floor plans filled with natural light to give your house a comfortable, connected feel. Examples of combining comfort and functionality: HVAC design to keep a consistent temperature in all areas of the home, low-e windows to reduce heat transfer through windows, spray foam insulation, and other building materials specifically chosen to increase comfort.
A – Aesthetically Pleasing
LCH builds several styles of homes, and all are aesthetically pleasing inside and out.
P – Plentiful
LCH builds homes designed for larger and/or growing families. Standard Lingenfelter Custom Homes have at least 4 bedrooms and many have 5. LCH typically designs homes with media and leisure or game rooms, at least a 3 car garage, and outdoor living areas.
E – Eclectic Designs
LCH specializes in designing contemporary, craftsman and traditional style homes. We work with designers who specialize in different types of design to provide our customers with quality homes that best fit their personality and building style.
